I strive to build a safe, secure, and trusting relationship with you and your family.
It’s important to me to provide relevant and evidence-based information, to allow you to feel confident around the birth process.
How you make informed decisions matters throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.
Through your pregnancy, I’m available by phone/text/email.

Holding safe space means creating an environment of comfort and confidence.
I offer comfort measures and position suggestions. Hands-on massage and counter pressure. Guidance through breathing, relaxation and coping techniques. Much of my doula support is co-regulation to come back to that feeling of safety.
With trust, honour and respect of your birth wishes,we will support you in advocating for them. -
I am passionate about breastfeeding and nutrition. However you wish to feed your baby, you will support you in establishing a foundation of success and connection.
I will support with breastfeeding latch, positioning, normalizing newborn behaviour, how to optimize feeds, and what you can expect in the early days.
We can also incorporate bottle-feeding basics, and establish a system that works best for your family.
Every family has a unique experience of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We are here to ensure you feel heard, seen, and trusted, whatever your journey looks like.
In preparing for your birth, you can expect my doula support to include:
One prenatal in-home meeting- (birth process overview, birth wishes discussion, explore comfort measures, partner involvement, postpartum planning, newborn basics, feeding/breastfeeding preparation)
Unlimited text/call/email support from the time of hire
Access to our Holding the Village lending library & resources (Reading material, TENS machine, birth balls, labour coping tools, pregnancy support belts, wraps/carriers etc.)
24/7 on-call doula support from 35 weeks until birth
Continuous labour support at home, the hospital, or the birth centre
Support during the ‘golden hour’ after birth. Support with baby's first feed, however that looks for you, and ensuring your new family is comfortable and settled
One postpartum home visit (Debriefing your birthing experience, ensuring comfortable healing and recovery, feeding check-in, newborn care tips/tricks etc.)
My birth doula support is an investment of $1400 + GST, paid in two installments:
$7o0 + GST retainer due at the time of hire and the remaining $700 + GST at 35 weeks of pregnancy.
